2. Information We Collect

We collect only the data necessary to operate, improve, and secure the app.

A. Account Information (Sign in with Apple)

• Your name
• Your email address (or Apple private relay email)
• Your unique Apple user identifier

We do not collect or store passwords.

B. Subscription Information

Subscriptions are processed by Apple via the App Store.

We do not collect or store credit card details, billing addresses, or payment information.

We may receive limited subscription-related information such as subscription status, transaction identifiers, and subscription expiry date.

C. Usage & In-App State Data

• Stories played
• Listening duration and completion progress
• Favorites and recents
• Playback settings (for example, speed and reader preferences)
• Trial time state and membership gating state

D. Local Device Storage

• Sign-in session identifiers
• Profile name and selected avatar
• Story progress and playback state
• Favorites and recents
• Download/offline listening settings and download index

E. Offline Downloads

If you enable story downloads, audio files and related download metadata may be stored on your device for offline listening. Downloaded files may be removed automatically based on app settings, storage limits, completion, or when removed manually.

F. Technical & Security Information

• App version
• Device/platform type
• Crash or error diagnostics
• IP address and request metadata for security, fraud prevention, and abuse/rate-limit protection

We do not collect precise location data.

G. Communications

We currently do not send marketing emails. If you contact support, we may use your email address to respond. If we introduce marketing communications in the future, we will update this policy and request consent where required by law.

3. How We Use Your Data

• Provide and maintain the app

• Enable playback continuity and offline features
• Monitor performance and fix bugs

We do not sell personal data and do not use personal data for third-party advertising.
